    Year 2 Royal Ball

    Year 2 had a Royal Ball to land their Twisted Tales topic. They played lots of games (including a princess and the pea game to see who really was a real prince or princess) and did lots of dancing! It was a lovely way to end the topic and they had such a fantastic time.

    Year One landed their topic by bringing their bikes and scooters to school, They all showed confidence and resilience and it was a lovely way to end their topic of Wheels, Wings and Wonderful Things.

    Dolphin Class at Forest School

    We had a fantastic afternoon in the forest, the children had time to explore the area. We also made minibeasts out of clay, made soups in the mud kitchen and enjoyed swinging on the rope swing.

    Commonwealth Games Event

    The children had a morning trying lots of new sports and games at Lord Butler on Wednesday. They all agreed that their favourite part was the trampolining! They all had an absolutely brilliant morning and are all keen for the next event!

    Turtle Class Visit Forest School

    Turtle class have been enjoying the freedom, joy and challenges of Forest School. They have loved sliding down muddy slopes, making dens, swinging on the rope swing, climbing trees and even using the forest imaginatively to make 'salad!'

    Orangutan Class at Forest School

    On the first day of the term, the Orangutans had a great time getting back to their natural habitat – forest school! The children enjoyed exploring, building dens, roasting marshmallows, and whittling sticks. As you can see from the photos, it was lots of fun!
