Newsletter 17.4.26

Today we have sent out our monthly online safety newsletter. This month’s edition includes a link to a new setting on Whatsapp which enables Parent-Managed controls for children under 13, giving you control over who can contact them and which groups they can join. You will also find information about Essex Police’s campaign to tackle the risks posed by AI misuse and deepfake technology and articles around protecting children from content relating to ‘the manosphere’.  There is information about what age ratings are for and how you can stop children from accessing games they are not old enough to play.
