Year 3 Roman Day

We had a fantastic Roman Day to launch our Radical Roman topic, bringing history to life through a range of exciting hands‑on activities.

The children stepped back in time by playing traditional Roman board games, took part in a quiz to discover fascinating facts about daily Roman life and learning how Roman soldiers marched in formation. They also enjoyed energetic gladiator games before culminating the day by recreating the famous battle between the Roman army and Boudicca’s forces.

It was a lively, immersive experience that sparked curiosity and enthusiasm. Enjoy the photos!
