Year Three Topic Launch

Year 3 had a wonderful morning diving into the fascinating world of the Stone Age with Charlotte from Saffron Walden Museum. The highlight? Getting hands-on with real artefacts! We explored tools that were crafted and used thousands upon thousands of years ago by genuine Stone Age people.

Among the treasures were examples of hand axes, adzes, stone picks and scrapers.

It was a fantastic way to kick off our Sticks, Stones and Bones topic, sparking curiosity and excitement for what’s to come.
