Sorting hat assembly

Before the important task of electing captains for Beech, Horse Chestnut, Oak and Sycamore, our new Year three first had to be sorted into their houses.

To do this, the Sorting Hat was lifted from its box; the fine coating of dust, collected over the past year blown off, and each child placed in the right group for them.
