Year 5 at the Big Bang Science Fair
On Tuesday 11th March, thirteen year 5 students visited the Big Bang science fair at Herts & Essex School, Bishops Stortford. After many months of hard work during science club, the children exhibited their own projects. Each group explained their project to STEM judges, adults and pupils (including sixth formers) from other schools. We were so proud of how confidently, eloquently and enthusiastically the children showcased their work. One of our projects received a 'highly commended' award from the STEM judges due to their scientific communication skills. The children showed resilience and curiosity to create such fabulous projects and they look forward to sharing their work with the rest of the school in assembly.
