Quiz Team Victory

We have been holding year group quizzes this week to select children for the National General Knowledge Quiz 2018. All the children in Years 3 to 6 have taken part in quizzes and one child selected from each year group to form the School’s team.

Daniel (Year 3), Oliver (Year 4), Lucas (Year 5) and Kien (Year 6) REPRESENTED Katherine Semar in the first round in Bishop Stortford.

The questions were tough, but we soon had a small lead. Over the course of the quiz, we lost and regained first place, battling against Harewood School and St Alban’s School in particular.
Towards the end, we gained a decent lead, and answered tactically to stop other teams catching us up.
As winners, we were presented with our trophy, badges and certificates, and we will be matching on towards the next round in the near future.
