Visit by Poet, Ian Bland

Our poetry week got off to a fabulous start today with all children participating in a poetry workshop with performance poet Ian Bland.  Ian  pitched the poetry at an appropriate level for each year group with children writing and performing their own poems.  Ian was extremely engaging and the children loved the staff participation he encouraged!  Laughter could be heard throughout the day as the children learnt about the fun you can have with poems.
