Year 3 Topic Launch

Year 3 launched their Down Under topic with a mystery rucksack and letter arriving to explore (we checked it was safe first!).  From a variety of clues ranging from airline labels, maps and even factor 50 suncream, the children deduced that the rucksack must belong to someone who had travelled from Australia - how exciting!

Then we found a letter, asking for some information to help the traveller decide between living in Australia and Great Britain, so we are going to do lots of learning and fact finding for them, including climate, pros and cons, landscapes.
