Artist Georgina Howling Visits Year 6

On Friday 5th October, a Cambridge based artist visited Katherine Semar Schools to work with the Year 6 pupils on an art project.
Pupils worked collaboratively over two workshops in the newly refurbished art room, creating a banner to represent the four school houses.
Funded by the Saffron Walden Arts Council, this project was a fantastic opportunity for the children to work with a professional artist. Said a spokesperson for the school, “Georgina Howling was inspiring and gave the children a stimulating and vibrant experience that enriched their school experience.”
The finished banner will be placed on display in the school hall.
