May Day Celebrations

We held our annual May Day celebration with a procession led by the May Queen (Ella), the Green Man (Caiden), his page (Digby) and their attendants.  The procession circled the playground, then the Green Man crowned the May Queen with a circlet of flowers.  As three cheers rang out for the Queen, she took her place on the dais with her attendants.  Country dancing from Early Years and Year 1, and Maypole dancing from Year 2 provided entertainment for the May Queen.
