Year 5 Topic Launch

To launch our Year 5 topic with a bang, the children made their own volcanoes. Using just cardboard, newspaper, mod roc and paint we built our own versions of the peaks of Helgafell and Eldfell, which we are learning about in geography. We made our own ‘lava’, poured them into the volcanoes and stood well back!
