Year 4 Visit Kingswood

Year 4 set off from Saffron Walden by coach at 9am and arrived in Kingswood two and a half hours later. After a short walk we had lunch overlooking the sea. Luckily, we had brought PE equipment so we were able to play various sports in this beautiful location.

Following a tour of Kingswood, and the dreaded room inspections, we took advantage of the dry weather to play some games to get to know our instructors better.

Then the children enjoyed a range of activities including archery, team challenge, caving and orienteering before having a delicious dinner.

To finish off the evening, the children enjoyed games and songs around the campfire, they even had marshmallows and hot chocolate. The children are now settling into bed ready for another busy day tomorrow.
