Buddy introductions
Having a buddy is a wonderful way for Year 6 children to experience responsibilities, and provides our youngest members of the school a safe person to help them when in the lunchroom, on the playground and enjoying exciting events.
The Year 6 buddies introduced themselves through writing a letter to their incoming Early Years buddy and, on Friday 12th September, they were all excited to meet in person. Year 6 came to meet their buddy where they read them a story and engaged in conversations about their favourite colours or if they had pets. Such a precious time for the youngest and oldest children in the school.
