Amazingly, today's early morning rain transformed into a beautiful sunny day! We visited the RSPB reserve at Bempton cliffs, where the children learned about and observed tree sparrows and gannets. They loved using the binoculars! We also visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Living Seas Centre and had a lovely time exploring the rock pools and learning about some fascinating wildlife from the enthusiastic leaders. We even found some crabs! Staff at the Cathedral yesterday and the centre and reserve today, as well as members of the public, have commented on the children’s fantastic behaviour. They have been brilliant and it has been a pleasure taking them to York.
