Another early start today to ensure we had time to travel to the RSPB bird reserve at Bempton Cliffs. Here the children learnt about tree sparrows and barn owls before making our way to the cliff tops to meet and learn about gannets. After a short coach journey, we arrived at the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust Living Seas Centre. Here the children spent time searching the rock pools and seaweed, finding all sorts of fantastic creatures. The children the had an opportunity to pack before having tea. This evening we made our our way back into the centre of York for a story walk. Once again today, the staff at all activities have commented on the fantastic behaviour and enthusiasm of the children. They are a credit to themselves.
