Today we visited Eden Camp, a WW2 prisoner of war camp which has been transformed into a brilliant museum. The children were really eager to share their knowledge about World War II as we explored the museum and they learned a huge amount from the fantastic displays and artefacts on show. We were really impressed with their behaviour and enthusiasm and this was a great launch to our World War II topic! We also visited the beautiful York Minster today for the Evensong service. The children were mesmerised by the architecture of the cathedral and the choir’s amazing singing. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take photos of the service but we’ll be visiting the cathedral again on Friday. We’ve also added a few photos from bowling last night.
