After a good night's sleep, the children had a cooked breakfast at 7:45 before heading off to the Castle Museum for the day. We took part in two workshops: Troubled Times, set in Victorian York where the children had to act as judge for a suspected criminal and Total War which focused on World War One. A quick play in the park followed before getting onto a boat for a tour of York on the River Ouse. After dinner we made our way to the bowling alley for bowling and slushies. The children have been fantastic today and we have received many compliments for their behaviour and politeness; the staff are all thoroughly enjoying their time away with them. The children are now fast asleep ready for another exciting day tomorrow.
