We’ve had another busy but exciting day in York. As well as exploring the Castle Museum, the children took part in two fantastic workshops. In one of them the children learned about what life was like for people who were sent to prison in the 1800s from the confines of one of the cells! They also took part in an interactive role play in the setting of a Victorian Street and court where they determined whether a man was guilty or innocent of theft. Fortunately, we found a gap in the rain for a very pleasant boat tour of the River Ouse. The children are just finishing their dinner and excited for bowling and slushies this evening. Apologies that some of the photos are slightly blurry! The children have been brilliant and we’re all having a lot of fun. We’re looking forward to heading to Eden Camp tomorrow come rain or shine!
