Year 6 have had a fantastic first day in York in the September sunshine. We had a lovely walk along the city walls and caught our first glimpse of the York Minster along with the other sights that the city has to offer. We visited the Yorkshire Museum and it’s beautiful grounds and the children took part in a ‘forensic science’ workshop. They carried out a series of exciting investigations, which involved examining real human bones! The children were all incredibly excited about settling into their hotel rooms and have enjoyed a tasty meal, evening quiz and a relaxing story before bed. More photos to follow tomorrow evening.
