Today we have visited Eden Camp, a World War 2 prisoner of war camp which has been turned into a museum. This has helped to launch our World War 2 topic for the rest of term. The children have learnt about how the war started, what life was like in Britain during the war years, the role of women in the war effort and much more. We also had an opportunity to sing some songs from the era. At lunchtime the children had a chance to play on the adventure playground. We will be off to the Minster for evensong in a few minutes; unfortunately we are not allowed to photograph evensong so you will have to wait until Friday to find out what the children thought of it.
