The Year 6 children who did not go to York spent the week on a variety of projects, with their main aim being to design and build a model village set in World War 2 with Mrs Whiter.
The children worked tirelessly on building, designing, planning, assembling, painting and modelling, each building their own house and gardens with Dig For Victory plots, allotments and Anderson shelters.
They were very proud of the finished product and look forward to showing it to those who went on the York residential.
The children also baked recipes from World War 2 and watched a theatre production of Oliver Twist.
They go to visit IWM Duxford on Friday.
