Summer Fete 2012

On Saturday 26th May 2012, Katherine Semar Infant and Junior Schools held their joint Summer fete. The two PTAs worked tirelessly to create a memorable experience. The weather was on our side and the feel and atmosphere at the event was happy and relaxed.
Thank you to everyone who came to support the schools. The total amount raised is still being worked out, but the resulting money will be used to enhance the experiences the children have in and out of school.

The fete was opened and a massive crowed poured into the school for a fun day out. Not only was the weather brilliant, the stalls and staff were just as good. The main event for the whole day was the gym show performed and choreographed by Mr Haralambous’ gym club. As there were many stools to play and win on, you were not short of much to do- from bouncy castles to pony rides, this fete was certainly one to remember. This fete bought the infants and the juniors together which made it special and different from all the others. I think everyone had an amazing day and it was a fete to remember for the year 6 pupils.
