Semar Players are a group of budding thespians, based in Saffron Walden, Essex. They pride themselves as specialists in corny Pantomime.
At the end of January 2012, the Semar Players put on the pantomime 'Aladdin'.
After months of practise, the acting, scenery and special effects were ready and the performances took place. The Semar Players performed their annual pantomime to capacity crowds again this year.
The money raised may be used to buy an amplified sound system for school assemblies and productions.
Many thanks are owed to the cast, including Katherine Semar Junior School children, for the hard work that went into the performances. A special thanks is owed to Mrs. A. Long, who as usual, directed the pantomime to a very high standard.
