Pupils meet with Sir Alan Haselhurst and are presented with Tesco 'Goodies'

On the 24th September, Mr. Hull, the Deputy Head teacher and two pupils, Callum and Olivia, from Katherine Semar Juniors and staff and two pupils from St Thomas More, attended an award gathering with Sir Alan Haselhurst, the Saffron Walden MP. The event, organised by Tesco was to present the schools with a goodies box from their Computers for schools catalogue.

When they all arrived, Sir Alan Haselhurst greeted them along with Steve Burley, the store manager.

They were presented an award for supporting Tesco with their computers for schools vouchers. Both schools received a 'goodies' box, which contained a programmable robot, sports equipment and art materials. Please enjoy the photos.
