Year 5 Greek Day

Year 5 had a fantastic introduction to their learning about Ancient Greece on Tuesday 2^nd November. We participated in a wide range of traditional Greek activities in the agora (market place), prayed at the temple to Athena, and asked the oracle questions about our future, among other things! In the afternoon they held a festival of Greek culture, where we learned and acted out Ancient Greek plays and a dance. Great fun and we learnt a great deal!
