On Wednesday 1st February 2012, Katherine Semar Junior School play St. Mary's football team in their first match of 2012.
KSJ started well with great pressure but they started passing the ball round very well and edged ahead and scored a great goal. Fabian Cieslik nearly scored from Max's corner. They got past our defence and scored and the goalkeeper (Max) couldn't do anything about it.
The first half ended and the score was 2-0 to St Mary's.
In the second half started so much better passing the ball around making some good chances in front of goal.
Kieran made a brilliant save one on one putting the ball out of the corner.
Unfortunly, they scored a great goal that got past our defence again and went in the top corner.
Pablo scored a wonderful goal from a good touch from Fabian to put some believe in the team.
Max won a corner which he took and eventually went in by Pablo.
KSJ was playing better than the first half but they couldn't find that goal.
The game ended 2-3 to St Mary's who played very well.
We would like to thank Mr Wallace, fans who supported us and the people who cooked the wonderful pizza after the game!
