On Wednesday 9th October, we welcomed parents, grandparents and carers into our school hall for our Harvest Festival.
We started off with a song, during which a procession of children brought gifts to place on the Harvest table.Mrs Callaghan welcomed our visitors and helped us to think about our food and how lucky we are to have such a wonderful choice of foods from this country and from abroad.
Year 2 then performed two more songs; Autumn Days and The Singing Vegetables. This latter song causing many chuckles in the audience as it had some very funny words
!Kieran and Heidi then lead us in a prayer before we sang the ever popular “Cauliflowers Fluffy” !
