Golfing success for Katherine Semar!

On Friday 7th May, children from Year 4 took part in a Tri-Golf tournament at Saffron Walden County High School.

The children competed in different sized teams and were able to practise a variety of striking skills against the clock. There were different bases and each team had an opportunity to learn different golfing techniques. These ranged from chipping for height, chipping accurately and putting. Each activity was scored and the aim was to have to most points at the end of the ten activities.

Katherine Semar managed to finish in the top 3 places with 'Super Sonic' coming first with a whopping 710 points. In second place was 'Fantastic Fudge' and 'Frizz Whizz' came third. 'Super Sonic' included Aleyna, Zuzanna, Trinity and Marta.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the children and they really enjoyed the experience.
