Early Years had a fantastic trip to Hyde Hall last week. All the children were very excited to get on a coach for the first time, and the fun didn't stop there. When we arrived, the children learnt all about seeds and how they are germinated and dispersed. They then split into groups to do different activities. In one, they had a cycle of things to do including: a 'dead' table, planting seeds, making a rubbings bookmark, painting flowers and making a sycamore 'helicopter' seed. In the other activity, we hunted for different objects while on a walk and used them to make bookmarks. It was a great day and the children made us all very proud.
