On the morning of Friday 20th June, all of Year 6 attended the 'Crucial Crew' at Clarance House, Thaxted. This activity is designed to raise awareness of a wide range of issues that will potentially affect the pupils' lives as they progress on to High School and continue to mature. The pupils take part or witness role play activities and are then asked to consider their responses and their choices. In total, there were 10 workshops on: Internet Safety, Road Safety, Fire Safety, Peer Pressure, The Dangers of Smoking, Criminal Damage, Bullying, Electrical Safety, Alcohol Awareness and Shoplifting. It was a valuable educational experience and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
