On Friday 18th March, Year 4 did some cookery with Mrs Kelly. The children were very excited about using the new cooking facilities that the school has to offer and set about making Ancient Egyptian cupcakes.
The children had created a design of a hieroglyphic to go onto their cake. However, not only did they make an Ancient Egyptian cupcake, they also produced a Red Nose Day cupcake because it was Comic Relief. The children weighed, mixed, cracked, whisked and scooped and had an excellent morning.
Many thanks to Mrs Sandwell for her excellent help but special thanks to Mrs Kelly for all the hard work she had put in to organising this morning.
