Class 2HG visited Fowlmere Nature Rerserve on Thursday 26th June. The children went minibeast hunting through a meadow and pond dipping in the afternoon. We saw lots of tiny creatures we had never seen before! Hilary and Chris helped us to identify them by looking very carefully. We used a map to help us find our way around and a magnifying glass to help us to see the creatures a little better.
We had a very special surprise! A little baby owlet had fallen out of his nest and we got to see him up close. We thought he looked exactly like Plop - the owl who was afraid of the dark!
We had a lovely day as the weather was absolutely perfect for what we were doing!
