York Residential Day 3

The children were woken at 7am. By the second night, the children were getting into the routine of the trip. They all slept well.
We ate our breakfast and caught the coach to Eden Camp. After an entertaining show, where the children were squirted with water pistols, we took a tour around the former prison camp. Highlights were the Blitzed Street and the submarine.

The hotel provided us with a delicious packed lunch which was consumed in the Mess Hut.

We returned to the hotel where were relaxed until it was time to go to Evensong. The service in the Minster was followed by time in the Minster gardens.

Back at the hotel we enjoyed Chicken Pie with potatoes and vegetables followed by sponge pudding. We learnt all about the Roman and Viking times in York in preparation for tomorrow's activities.
