Today started with breakfast at 7:30, the children took much longer to wake up than yesterday! After breakfast it was on the coach and off to Eden Camp. Here the children toured the museum which is housed in an old POW camp from World War 2. The children learnt about many different aspects of World War 2 which will no doubt come in handy as we continue our Blitz, Bangs and Bombs topic back at school. After lunch the children visited the shop and then we made our way back to the hotel.
After a short break for diary writing we made our way to York Minster so we could take part in evensong. This is always a lovely experience and the children followed the service well with many commenting on the high quality of the singing from the choir. Unfortunately photography is not permitted during the service so you will have to ask the children to describe the inside of the Minster to you. Once again the children have received many positive comments from members of the public for their excellent behaviour and good manners today, both at Eden Camp and at the Minster. The children are currently enjoying their dinner and a quiz will follow before bed.
