On Thursday 14th June Year 6 visited France for the day. After an early start they arrived in Calais and explored the town. They then visited Citeeurope and had a delicious lunch in Flunch. After that, it was back on the coach for the short drive to Boulogne. Here, they learnt about the history of Boulogne and bought some souvenirs. The last visit was to a local bakery where the children learnt how to make baguettes and croissants. The children had a fantastic day but were very tired the following morning.
