On Friday 12th November, Year 4 visited Bhaktivedanta Manor. Once we got to Bhaktivedanta Manor and met Indriyesha, who runs the temple, the children were separated into two groups.
The children were given a tour of the manor and got the opportunity to dress up in saris or as Hindu warriors. Also, they were taken on an bull cart to view the Manor's cattle and watched a Hindu celebration. One of the most popular parts of the day was being treated to a traditional Hindu lunch.
After this, the children got to buy themselves a memento from the gift shop and have their faces painted.
The children were all impeccably behaved and Mr Wallace, Mrs Archer and Miss Sladen were extremely proud with the way the children represented the school.
