On Friday 22nd June, after a busy Sports Day morning, year 4 took part in a Shakespeare workshop focussing on the play; The Tempest. The children have been studying the text in class and were excited to show off their Shakespeare knowledge and take part in a range of fun drama activities to understand the characters and storyline more. They also became more familiar with the Shakespearean language used during the time the play was written 400 years ago.
Alex, the professional actor who ran the workshop, was so impressed with the children’s knowledge and enthusiasm about the play. Please enjoy the photos.
