On Thursday 17th November, Year 4 performed a traditional Indian dance to the rest of the school.
The dance was accompanied by words from a traditional Hindu folk story, Rama and Sita. The story is about a true battle of good versus which sees Rama defeat the ten-headed Demon King, Ravana.
The children learnt different dance techniques and they were choreographed by Mrs. James. Due to the success of this workshop, the Year 5 children will be starting a similar one in the spring term and this will be linked to their work on rainforests.
