On Thursday 22nd April 2010, an excited 3CW were invited to Saffron Walden town library. When we arrived we met 3 ladies who kindly told us about the Dewey decimal system which helps the library keep track of where the books are and helps visitors to find the book they need. Once they had explained this to us, they set us a challenge to find non-fiction books on different topics using the Dewey decimal system. We thoroughly enjoyed this.
After that, the librarians read us a selection of their favourite poems and then we wrote some of our own.
3CW has a very enjoyable morning at the library and an exhausting walk back to school!
