KSJ Vs St. Thomas More Cricket

On Wednesday 1st of May 2013 Ksj played ST Thomas Moore in a cricket match, at the Saffron Walden cricket ground.

ST Thomas Moore won the toss, they chose to field first. Our first batting pair was Alix and Luhan. They did really well scoring over 20 runs and no outs! Next up was Bradley and Freddie they batted very well but unfortunately they were bowled out a few times. They were unlucky because they faced ST Thomas Moore’s best bowlers. After that we had Liam and Archie who batted amazingly. Following on from that, Malwina and Nathan got lots of runs and no outs. Our last batting pair was Toby and Anton who scored over 20 runs.

We batted fantastically, in order to win the game, we had to field as well as we batted.

ST Thomas Moore’s batters got out lots of times by Katherine Semar's superb bowling and Fielding.

Sensational Bowling from Anton, Toby, Liam, Bradley and John kept St Thomas Moore’s runs low. Ben Miller did some great fielding to kept us in the game.

An unstoppable performance won us the match, with the final score being 306 for ST Thomas Moore and a strong 344 for KSJS.

We would like to thank MR Warwick and Mr Hull for arranging and supporting us. We would also like to thank the parents for watching us and ST Thomas Moore for playing us.
