On Thursday 20th March 2008, a group of children from the Gifted and Talented club delivered a presentation on the environment.
The talk discussed the issues surrounding climate change and man's input into this phenomenon. It also tackled the subject of what we could do to help.
Many ideas to cut our carbon footprint were discussed and the audience, made up of parents and governors, were challenged to adopt an idea discussed.
Afterwards, a spread of locally produced food was shared. The food had not travelled far to get to school, which meant that very little carbon was produced in distributing it.
