A hot, sunny Friday afternoon was a great time for an ice-cream!
As a reward for achieving their ‘5p challenge’ in March (the first junior school class to do this), Flame Robins got to choose their treat. They quickly decided it just had to be an extra play time with ice-cream but due to the chilling presence of the ‘Beast-from-the-East’ and yet more snow showers, Flame Robins decided to wait until the weather warmed up.
Their patience was finally rewarded and Friday 20th was THE day! Taking a break from investigating the Anglo Saxons, all the Flame Robins were able to enjoy their ice-creams in the glorious sunshine and cheer on the KS1 children as the Infants undertook a running challenge on the field.
