We had a fantastic day at the beach on Wednesday. The early start didn't stop 60 very excited children from bursting into the classroom ready for an adventure. We spent the morning in a workshop stroking a starfish and learning lots of exciting things about them. The children thought it was very funny that starfish have an eye on the end of each arm! After a speedy lunch, we then explored the aquarium and saw some pesky penguins, sneaky sharks and cheeky meerkats,as well as many other peculiar animals! Finally, with buckets and spades in arm, we headed to the beach! We all had a lovely day, and I am sure it won't be easily forgotten!
