On Friday 7th July and Saturday 8th July, 17 students and 4 teachers from Jiangsu Provence arrived at Katherine Semar to work with our students.
The students, from MidoBridge Primary School, were offered the visit after Mr Hull went to China to create a link and become a partner school.
After many months of preparation, the students came to enjoy our orchestra, choir, sports facilities, work with our classes on maths, play co-operative games and compare lifestyles and cultures with children from England.
On the Saturday, the Chinese students went to stay with host families, sharing picnics, going to the carnival, visiting the beautiful town of Saffron Walden and visiting Audley End House and Gardens.
