Primary school applications open
Applications for children’s reception places opened this week and will run until 15 January, 2018.
Parents of children born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014 should apply online with their four preferences for primary schools.
To have the best chance to get the school of their choice parents are encouraged to not only make sure that they make their application before the deadline but to also check school admissions criteria for any school they apply to and to use all four of the preferences available.

 

For children who wish to start during the year in all age groups, parents need to telephone our office on 01799 521720 to make an appointment to view the school.


All applications for places in our school should be made via Essex Planning and Admissions (telephone 0845 6032200 or go online www.essex.gov.uk/admissions).


Reception school applications for September 2018 – reminder for new intake parents:
Parents and carers who live in Essex can now apply for their child’s school place online using the Essex Online Admissions Service at:
www.essex.gov.uk/admissions


You will be able to make your application online from 13th November 2017.


The closing date for primary applications is 15th January 2018.  This is the statutory national closing date set by the Government.

Following the offer of a school place, which will be made by Essex County Council on 16th April 2018, if you wish to make an appeal please see the guidelines and application form below.
